Blog Commenting – How To Do It SEO Friendly?

Blog Commenting works like a charm in SEO.

With the recent Google Panda update, there is a serious discussion on the effectiveness of SEO techniques. Many SEO consultants are of the opinion that blog commenting is a search engine friendly approach to regain the lost momentum.

Is blog commenting really SEO friendly? Then how to do it effectively? Let us have a close look at blog commenting technique in SEO perspective.

Blog Commenting for SEO:

Until the happening of Google Panda update, the webmasters were of the opinion that article writing was the only SEO technique that works like a charm. Later on, the algorithm change has clearly shown that there was a Google slap on article directories.

All of a sudden, the top article directories lost their power and glamour. Most of the article directories lost 90% of their organic traffic overnight. There were no exceptions. If the article writing is termed as low quality then how can one rely on blog commenting?

What Actually Blog Commenting Means?

Personally, I’m more interested in imparting apt knowledge to the newbies. As it is very difficult to get into the right direction during difficult times, I’m more interested in helping out the newbies. What actually blog commenting is? There’s nothing technical in it. Just stands for the comments made on blog posts.

In blog commenting, you leave a comment under the comment section of a post. Usually, the comment section is filled with request details like name, contact email address, website, feedback and captcha to control spam.

For gaining SEO edge, you should look at the blogs of your niche. Do remember; it’s a total waste of time and resources in engaging blog commenting at other niches. Relevancy is the most important criteria.

Let me tell you why I’m so harsh on this aspect. Say, you have made good criticism in the comment section of other niches. Then the webmaster will leave a simple thanks note by visiting your site (or most avoid it). It increases the bounce rate. In SEO, the higher the bounce rate, the lower the Google loves it.

Effective SEO Strategy:

It’s now the time to concentrate on comment section as it is an effective SEO strategy. The golden rule for blog commenting is to read the entire post. If you don’t understand, make it twice or thrice. And then express your opinion in the form of a comment.

If you want detailed information, then ask the blog publisher to be more informative in that specific situation. Highlight the post lines for in-depth analysis. If you don’t like the post then express it on a soft note quoting why you didn’t like it. You should remember that single line blog comments don’t give any SEO advantage. In reality, it is termed as a SPAM.

SEO is like a knife with two sharp edges. You can get a penalty if it is overdone. The same rule applies to blog commenting. Make it natural and semi-automatic with BLOG COMMENT DEMON.
